Yes. Fonts, headings, spacing, margins, page breaks, images, tables and lists come through as in your document. Common Office fonts such as Calibri and Cambria are matched with metric-compatible equivalents, so lines and pages break in the same places. A rare font that isn't installed on our server is replaced by the closest match.

Not at the moment: the converter produces a standard PDF, which suits printing, email and most upload forms. If a portal specifically demands PDF/A for archiving, use a tool that offers that format.

They can, so accept or reject all tracked changes and delete the comments in Word before converting. Your PDF then shows only the final text.

Usually because the Word document ends with an empty paragraph or a page break after the last line. Delete it and convert again, or remove the blank page afterwards with Delete Pages.
