Only minimally. Each image is saved into the PDF as a high-quality JPEG (92%), and very large camera photos are scaled to 3,000 pixels on the longest side, which is still sharp for printing and screens and keeps the PDF a reasonable size.

Yes. Choose Original as the page size and None as the margin: each page then takes the exact size of its photo, edge to edge. With A4 or Letter, pick None for the margin to make the image as large as the page allows.

Yes. With the page size set to Original, every page follows the shape of its own photo, so portrait and landscape images keep their orientation. The portrait or landscape setting only applies to A4 and Letter pages.

Yes. Drag the thumbnails to change the order, rotate any single image without affecting the others, and remove the ones you don't need, all before you convert.

The PDF's size depends on how many photos you add and how detailed they are, and you can't set an exact target here. Convert first, then shrink the PDF with Compress PDF, or make the photos smaller beforehand with Compress Image. For strict upload limits, see our guide to reducing a PDF under 100 KB.

Yes. Set the output to Separate PDFs and every image becomes its own one-page PDF; you download them together as a ZIP file.

Without an account: up to 20 images, 20 MB each and 80 MB in total. With a free account: up to 100 images, 40 MB each and 100 MB in total.

No. The photo is placed in the PDF as an image, so you can't select or change its text yet. To get text you can search and copy, run the PDF through OCR PDF; for an editable document, use PDF to Word.

To add a picture onto a page of a PDF, open the PDF in Editly and use its image tool. To add photos as new pages, convert them here and combine the result with your PDF using Merge PDF.

Use Scan PDF: it uses your phone's camera, finds the edges of the page and straightens it, then saves the scan as a PDF. JPG to PDF is best for photos and images you already have.

No for JPG, PNG, HEIC and the other common formats: the PDF is built right in your browser, so the photos stay on your device. Only TIFF images are converted on our server, over HTTPS, and deleted automatically afterwards.

After converting, download the PDF and attach it, or create a share link and send it by WhatsApp, email or a QR code. The link is valid for 35 minutes. You can also save the PDF to Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive.
