How do I add a watermark to a photo for free?
Add your photo in the box above, type your watermark text or choose a logo image, adjust the look and position, and download. It's free, needs no sign-up and adds no branding of our own.
How do I add my logo as a watermark?
Choose an image watermark and select your logo. A PNG with a transparent background looks best. Set its size and opacity, then drag it where you want it.
Can I place the watermark anywhere?
Yes. Pick a preset position or hold and drag the watermark on the preview. Turn on the tiled layout to repeat it across the whole photo, which makes it harder to crop out.
How do I watermark a copy of my ID or passport?
Before sending a photo of your ID card, passport or driving licence, add text such as Only for rental application, with the date, across the document. It shows what the copy is for and makes misuse harder.
Can I write the watermark in my own language?
Yes. Type the text in any language your device can write, such as Hindi, Arabic, Chinese or Russian; it's drawn with your device's fonts.
How do I watermark photos on iPhone or Android?
Open this page in Safari or Chrome, add a photo from your gallery, set up the watermark and download. No app is needed; iPhone HEIC photos are accepted.
Can I watermark many photos at once?
Without an account you can watermark one photo at a time. With a free account you can add up to 3 photos at once (100 MB in total), each with its own watermark settings: click a photo in the list to set it up.
Which format is the watermarked photo saved in?
By default it keeps the original format. You can also choose JPG, PNG or WebP; pick PNG to keep transparency.
Can you remove a watermark from a photo?
No. This tool adds watermarks; it doesn't remove them. If an image carries someone else's watermark, ask the owner for a clean copy.
Can I watermark a PDF instead?

Are my photos kept private?
Yes. Photos are watermarked in your browser on your own device and aren't uploaded to our server. Only if you choose to share a link or save to cloud storage is a file sent.
