The tool always saves the whole page from top to bottom, not just the part that fits on your screen. Before converting, it scrolls through the page so lazy-loaded images appear too, and long pages are spread over as many PDF pages as needed. Endless feeds, such as social media timelines, only include the posts that load at first.

In Chrome, press Ctrl+P (Cmd+P on a Mac) and choose Save as PDF as the destination. That prints the site's print version, which can leave out backgrounds, images or menus, and a cookie banner may end up in the PDF. For a copy that looks like the page on screen, paste the link here instead. It works the same in Firefox, Safari and Edge.

On iPhone or Android, open the web page, tap Share and copy the link, or copy the address from the address bar. Then open this page, paste the link and tap Convert to PDF. The PDF is created on our server, so it looks the same as on a computer. It's saved to the Files app on iPhone and to Downloads on Android.

Not as one long page. The PDF uses standard paper sizes, so a long web page is split across several pages, with page numbers at the bottom. To fit more on each page, open PDF Settings, choose A3 and move the margins slider to No margin.

Very close. The page is rendered by Chrome's engine with its on-screen styles, so fonts, images, colours and layout come through. Common cookie banners and pop-ups are hidden, the text stays selectable and searchable, and links stay clickable. Videos and animations can't play in a PDF, so they appear as a still image or an empty box.

If the link already opens a PDF file, there is nothing to convert: open it and use your browser's download button, or long-press the link on your phone and choose the download option. Webpage to PDF is for web pages, so a direct link to a PDF file can't be converted here.

The usual reasons are that the page needs a login or subscription (only public pages can be opened), the site blocks automated visits, or the page takes too long to load. Some sites show a security check instead, and the PDF then shows that check rather than the page. For security, local and company-intranet addresses and links with an unusual port number aren't allowed. If a conversion fails, wait a moment and try again.

No. The page is opened on our server, converted, and the PDF is sent straight to your browser. It isn't saved on our servers or shared with anyone, and you don't need an account. If you create a share link, that copy stays available until the link expires.
