How to crop a PDF

1
Upload your PDF from your device, or pull it directly from Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive. Without an account: up to 80 MB per file. With a free account: up to 100 MB per file.
2
Drag the crop handles around the page to trim margins or focus in on a specific section. A live preview shows the new shape as you adjust.
3
Pick the scope: apply the crop to just the current page, a custom range of pages, or the whole document.
4
Click Crop PDF. The new page boundaries are written back into the file - pixels outside the crop area are removed cleanly.
5
Download your cropped PDF, save it back to the cloud, or send it straight into another tool like Merge or Sign.

Why use our Crop PDF tool

Drag-and-drop crop handles
Pull the edges of the page in any direction. The preview updates live so you always see exactly what stays and what goes.
Trim white margins
Remove unwanted padding around the content so the page fills the screen edge to edge - ideal for prepping scans for e-readers.
Focus on a section
Need just the chart, the signature box, or one part of a poster? Drag the box around that section and crop everything else away.
Per-page, range, or full-doc
Apply your crop to a single page, a range like 1 to 12, or the entire document - whichever fits the job.
Live preview
What you see in the editor is what you get in the output. No surprises, no recropping after the fact.
Lossless crop
Text, images, and fonts stay sharp. The crop changes the page box, not the underlying content quality.
Cloud import
Pull files from Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive without a local download step.
Workflow Ready
Send the cropped PDF straight into Merge, Compress, Sign, or any other tool without re-uploading.
Free, no watermark
No watermark on the PDF, no signup needed for single jobs, no per-day cap on crops.

Frequently asked questions

Can I crop just one page?
Yes. Choose the current-page scope, set your crop handles on that page, and only that page is modified. The other pages stay as they are.
How do I apply the same crop to many pages?
Set the crop area once, then choose either a range of pages (like 1 to 12) or the whole document. The same crop is applied to every page in scope.
Will my text or images be lost?
Only the parts outside the crop area are removed. Content inside the crop box is preserved at full quality - text stays sharp, images are not re-compressed.
Can I crop different pages with different shapes?
Yes. Apply one crop to a range, then click another page or another range and set a different crop. Each scope can have its own crop area.
Can I undo a crop after saving?
The download is your modified file - cropping is a one-way operation in the output. If you might want the original back, keep a copy of your source file before saving.
Will the page size change in the PDF?
Yes. The page dimensions are updated to match the new crop, so the file opens at the cropped size in any viewer and prints exactly that area.
Can I import from Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive?
Yes. Use the cloud buttons on the upload screen to pull files in directly. No need to download them to your device first.
Are my files kept private?
Yes. Uploads happen over HTTPS, files are not shared, and they are deleted from our servers shortly after the job finishes.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The tool runs in any modern browser on phone, tablet, or desktop. There is no app to install.
