How do I crop a PDF for free?

How do I crop all pages of a PDF at once?
Draw the crop box once and apply it to all pages, or to a range such as 2-10. Every selected page is trimmed to the same area, which suits documents with a fixed layout.
How do I crop a single page?
Open that page, draw the box and apply it to the current page only. The other pages stay as they were.
How do I remove white margins from a PDF?
Pull the edges of the crop box in until they touch the content, then apply. Margins are trimmed visually; the box is drawn by you rather than detected automatically, so you decide exactly what stays.
How do I crop shipping labels from a Flipkart, Meesho or Amazon PDF?
Add the label PDF, draw the crop box around the label on the first page and apply it to all pages. Every page is trimmed to the label, ready to print on a label printer or a smaller sheet.
How do I crop an Aadhaar card from the e-Aadhaar PDF?
Unlock the e-Aadhaar PDF first with Unlock PDF (the password is the first four letters of your name in capitals plus your year of birth). Then crop around the card on the page and download it, ready to print.
Does cropping delete the content outside the box?
No. Cropping hides everything outside the box, but it stays inside the file and can reappear in some editors. To remove sensitive text or images for good, use Redact PDF instead.
Will cropping make my PDF smaller?
Hardly, because the hidden areas remain in the file. To reduce the file size, use Compress PDF after cropping.
Can I change the page size to A4 or Letter?
No, cropping keeps the area you choose at its original scale; it doesn't resize pages to a paper format. When printing, choose your printer's fit-to-page option to fill the sheet.
Can I cut one page into two halves?
Not directly. Cropping keeps one area per page. To get both halves, crop the PDF twice, once for each half, and combine the results with Merge PDF.
Can I undo a crop?
Yes. Undo and redo step through your changes to the crop box, and Reset starts again from the full page. Nothing is saved until you download.
How do I crop a PDF on iPhone, Android or Mac?

Can I crop several PDFs at once?

Are my files kept private?
Yes. The PDF is cropped in your browser on your own device. Only in the rare case your browser can't do it is the file sent over HTTPS to our server, which deletes it automatically within one hour.
