Cell formatting, borders, colours, fonts, number and date formats, merged cells and charts come through as they look in Excel. Common Office fonts such as Calibri are matched with metric-compatible equivalents, so columns keep their width. A rare font that isn't installed on our server is replaced by the closest match.

The converter follows the page setup saved in your workbook. In Excel, go to Page Layout, set Width to 1 page under Scale to Fit (or choose Fit All Columns on One Page in the print settings), save the file and convert it. All columns then fit across each page, and long tables simply continue on the next page.

A sheet wider than the paper is split across several pages, just as when you print it. Set Width to 1 page under Scale to Fit, switch to landscape or set a print area in Excel, save and convert again.

Set the orientation in Excel under Page Layout > Orientation > Landscape and save the file. The PDF uses the orientation, paper size and margins stored in each sheet, so you can even mix portrait and landscape sheets.

Yes. Every visible sheet in the workbook goes into the same PDF, in order. Hidden sheets are left out. To keep only some sheets, hide the others before converting, or remove pages afterwards with Delete Pages.

In Excel, choose Page Layout > Print Titles and set Rows to repeat at top, for example row 1. Save and convert; each PDF page then starts with your header row.

Usually because cells far below or to the right of your table contain formatting or a stray space, so they count as part of the printed area. Set a print area in Excel (Page Layout > Print Area) or delete those empty rows and columns, then convert again. You can also remove blank pages afterwards with Delete Pages.
