Data Deletion Instructions

In short: You can delete your iHatePDF account and any data we hold about you at any time. Files you upload to our tools are deleted automatically within one hour, and we never store copies.

1How to Request Deletion

To delete your iHatePDF account and any personal data we hold about you, send an email to contact@ihatepdf.com with the subject Delete my account. Please include the email address linked to your account so we can identify the right record. If you signed in with Google, use the email address Google gave us.

2What Gets Deleted

On receiving a valid request, we permanently remove your account record (your name, email address, profile picture URL, and any preferences you set), your stored login session, and any history or settings tied to your account. The deletion is irreversible.

3When It Happens

We process deletion requests within thirty days of receiving them. In most cases the work is completed within a few business days. We send a confirmation email to the address on file once removal is complete.

4Files You Uploaded

Files you upload to iHatePDF tools (PDFs, images, documents) are not tied to your account in the first place. They are processed in isolated workspaces and deleted from our servers automatically within one hour. We never retain copies, so no additional action is needed to remove them.

5Revoking Provider Access

If you signed in with Google, deleting your iHatePDF account does not by itself revoke the app's access on Google's side. To do that, visit your Google account settings (Security, Third-party apps with account access) and remove iHatePDF from the list.
